Mark Thompson, Director-General of the BBC will be speaking at the SPTC Annual Lecture on 'FAITH IN THE MEDIA: The Stone Which The Builders Rejected - Religion, Ideology and Media in Modern Britain' on Thursday June 12, 2008, 7:30pm at Holy Trinity Brompton.

Mark studied at Merton College, Oxford, before joining the BBC as a production trainee. Mark was apointed to his current role in 2004, having formerly been Chief Executive of Channel 4.
