The School of Theology - registration now open
Registration is now open for the course that starts on 3rd October 2009 - book early to avoid disappointment as spaces fill up fast!
The School of Theology offers an opportunity to listen to some of the best thinkers and communicators of Christian faith today, to chew over these ideas with others, and a great way to get to know people who are on the same journey as you are.
The following speakers are a few of those who will be speaking over the three tracks (Bibletrack, Faithtrack and Lifetrack);
Fr. James Hanvey - a Jesuit Priest and is the Director of the Heythrop institute for Religion, Ethics and Public Life where he specialises in Spirituality and Systematic Theology
The Rt Revd N.T. Wright - The Bishop of Durham
Professor Alister McGrath - Professor of Theology, Education and Ministry at King’s College, London
The Most Reverend Metropolitan Kallistos (Ware) of Diokleia - a titular Metropolitan of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Great Britain
Amy Orr-Ewing - Training Director of RZIM Zacharias Trust and Director of Programmes for the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics (OCCA)
Professor Nigel Biggar - Regius Professor of Moral and Pastoral Theology at the University of Oxford, where he also directs the McDonald Centre for Theology, Ethics, and Public Life
Fr. John McDade - Principal of Heythrop College and Lecturer in Systematic Theology
