International Update
Following the successful launch of the SPTC School of Theology resources at St. Andrew's Mount Pleasant in Charleston, Christ Church in Kansas have just launched their own pilot programme of the School of Theology.
The first night of their trial course using SPTC's Faithtrack DVDs started on Monday 8th June. The feedback from the course so far has been really exciting. Trish Nelson who is responsible for running the course at Christ Church gave us some feedback she received after their first evening;
“I could not write fast enough to capture all the notes I wanted to take!”
“I never thought about the character of God. I learned more about him in one hour than in my 53 years of church-going. Alternately, I am amazed, overwhelmed, awed and convicted.”
“This class increased my desire to walk closer with God.”
The church are planning on following this up with a big Alpha Initiative in September 2009 and then running the Bibletrack from January 2010.
