Apologetics Training Day
On May 9th we held a day conference with the Zacharias Trust at St Paul’s Hammersmith designed to address some of the key questions raised about faith in the modern world. Over 350 people came together to hear Professor Alister McGrath from Kings College London, Michael Ramsden and Amy Orr-Ewing from Zacharias Trust, as well as our own Mike Lloyd .
Most of the objections to God in today’s world are moral rather than intellectual so we looked at some of those – for example, is God violent and how can he allow suffering and evil?
This was a fantastic day of learning and equipping and is the kind of event we hope we serve the church here in London and beyond in the future. The talks from that day will be available on this website in a few weeks time (under the resource section).

Graham Tomlin, Mike Lloyd and Jane Williams discuss theology and life with a slice of humour.
Never has been it more urgent for Christians to give a reason for the faith that is within them. In the midst of the conflict between literalism in religion and the disintegrating world view, the appeal of mature biblical faith is very clearThe Rt Revd Richard Chartres
