FaithTrack resources

Many Christians long to study their faith more deeply. However, they are not always able to go away to college or seminary and there often simply are not the resources in the local church to run basic courses in theology. St Paul’s Theology Centre has for a number of years run a very successful School of Theology at Holy Trinity Brompton. This course is being filmed to make it available for other churches to use so that any church anywhere in the world can run its own basic introduction to theology within their local communities.

The School of Theology consists of three tracks:

  • FaithTrack (introduction to systematic theology)
  • BibleTrack (an introduction to the Bible)
  • LifeTrack (introduction to ethics, gospel and culture, mission, politics, etc).

A FaithTrack DVD set is now complete and available for churches to run. These DVDs comprise nine separate one hour teaching sessions given by Jane Williams, Michael Lloyd and Graham Tomlin and cover the following topics:

  • Talk 1 - The Character of God (Dr Graham Tomlin)
  • Talk 2 - Creation (Dr Jane Williams)
  • Talk 3 - Sin, Evil and the Fall (Dr Michael Lloyd)
  • Talk 4 - Incarnation (Dr Jane Williams)
  • Talk 5 - The Death of Christ (Dr Graham Tomlin)
  • Talk 6 - Jesus’ Resurrection and Ascension (Dr Jane Williams)
  • Talk 7 - The Holy Spirit (Dr Graham Tomlin)
  • Talk 8 - The Trinity (Dr Michael Lloyd)
  • Talk 9 - Fulfilment (Dr Michael Lloyd)
  • Extended Questions and Answers (Graham Tomlin, Jane Williams and Michael Lloyd)

There is also a leaders guide, talk handouts and full instructions on how to run the course in the best possible way which can be accessed via this page with the username and password provided in the DVD box set.

The FaithTrack DVD box set costs £45.99 and is available to buy at alphashop.org - https://shop.alpha.org/product/38/faithtrack-dvd-includes-web-notes

Small group questions

We have provided some sample small group questions to accompany each talk. Please feel free to either let discussion flow in the group setting, or use some of the questions to help structure your discussion. Please do not feel that you have to work your way through all of the questions but choose the ones which you think will be most appropriate to your group.
