Monday Theology

SPTC runs its Degree level theology courses on Monday mornings and in an annual study week (Monday – Friday in September). The training is part-time and mid-week so that it can be accessed by a wide variety of people.

The next Open Days for applicants for accredited courses will be held on 25 January and 15 March.

Students who simply want to enjoy our courses without assessment or accreditation can apply to study on Monday mornings on an annual basis. The courses taught are exactly the same as those who are following the accredited routes but excluding the study weeks and ministy modules. For an overview of what is taught see summary of modules and training routes. The cost of the non accredited course route is £500 per year.

For those who are following non-accredited courses there is also the additional opportunity for a place on our Leadership and church planting training course. (Those who are following accredited courses will receive this teaching in the study weeks.)

For students who wish to follow accredited routes the options are:

CERTIFICATE: One year of study - Monday mornings and 2 study weeks
DIPLOMA: Three years of study - including 3 study weeks
BA DEGREE: Five years of study - including 4 study weeks

In addition to the core teaching you will need time for personal study, reading, essay writing and ministry based assignments.

Please note that there is an interview process for students applying for Certificates, Diplomas and Degrees. These will take place on our Open Day for independent students on the 22nd of June.

This is a summary of the modules taught for all the accredited courses (non-accredited students follow the Monday morning modules). More details can be found by following the links above
